Imagine this Halloween Pumpkin Cake Shelf Sitter DIY Craft Kit sitting pride of place on a shelf.  Picture a flat wooden base shaped like the front of a cake. Along the bottom edge runs a thick twisted rope-style border. Just above it, a simple cake surface is decorated with a small flying bat. Across the middle, a band of rounded bead-like shapes forms a raised trim, and above that, thick dripping icing flows down in soft, curved lines.

At the top of the cake sits a large pumpkin with a carved smiling face. Behind it, two curved pumpkin segments extend out to the sides, giving it a fuller shape. The pumpkin itself is a separate layered piece that sits on top of the base, creating depth and shadow.

This kit is supplied unassembled, with each element cut as an individual piece. When built, the design becomes a layered, 3D decoration rather than a flat image.

You will notice fine engraved (score) lines across the surface. Some of these are part of the design — such as the icing drips and pumpkin features — while others act as subtle placement guides to help you position each piece accurately during assembly.

• Smooth surface ideal for painting and decorating but a light sanding can be done if you prefer a smoother finish on unpainted or painted wood.
• Laser-cut edges may have slight darkened finish (normal characteristic)
• A slight burnt smell may be present when first opened but this is completely normal and expected with laser cut wood.
• As this is a natural wood product, slight variations in colour and grain may occur.
• Edges may feel slightly rough due to the cutting process.

How to Care for MDF Wood

• Some natural residue may be present on the surface to remove this just wipe gently with a dry cloth.
• Wooden pieces should be handled with care during use.
• This product is intended for indoor use.
• It should be placed in a sheltered area if used outside.
• This product can be used outdoors if sealed with a suitable exterior varnish.
• Store in a dry environment when not in use.
